The Hawkesbury Forest Experiment has been designed to find out the long term effects of climate changes and rising carbon dioxide levels in our atmosphere, on our eucalypt forests. In collaboration with UNSW, UTS, NSWDPI, SUAS, Macquarie University and the Australian Greenhouse Office, this project will help us protect our unique native trees and unravel the possible connections between elevated CO2 and drought.
